Leslie E. Murad, II


Leslie E. Murad, II, has been involved in the legal community of the Inland Empire his entire legal career. He has practiced in the private sector in both Riverside and San Bernardino Counties, been an in-house lawyer as a Deputy City Attorney for the City of San Bernardino, an Assistant City Attorney for the City of Redlands and served as a Deputy County Counsel for the County of Riverside. He also had the unique opportunity to have served the community as a Superior Court Commissioner. During his time on the bench, he presided over hundreds of bench trials and made rulings on numerous criminal and civil law and motion matters. He also received an award for his handling of his juvenile Education Code calendar from the Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Commission of San Bernardino County. Mr. Murad has a very broad range of experience which includes several years of public entity defense of many Inland Empire cities and for the County of Riverside, both in the private and public sectors. He has defended health care professionals in medical mal-practice actions, defended companies, individuals and public entities in tort suits through claims adjuster services and through insurance carriers in all manner and types of cases from toxic torts, road design, product liability, automobile accidents, dog bites, trip and falls, and police misconduct. A police case he tried made law and is cited as Amylou R. vs County of Riverside (1994) 28 Cal. App. 4th 1205. As a city prosecutor, he prosecuted misdemeanor municipal code violations. He also reviewed, revised and prepared contracts, resolutions and ordinances and advised various city and county departments and their staff, Planning Commissions, various Boards and City Councils. He has also been a court appointed arbitrator for both the San Bernardino and Riverside County Superior Courts.
